Shipping policy

Effective date: 1 June 2026

We ship single-origin Reed avocados from the farms in the Palani Hills, Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu, to addresses across India.

1. Where we ship

Pan-India. We do not ship outside India.

Some pincodes (remote or non-serviceable by our courier partners) may not be available. If your pincode is not serviceable, we will update you.

2. Dispatch schedule

We harvest, pack, and dispatch in batches, not daily. Orders are typically dispatched within 2–3 business days.

After dispatch, transit time is typically:

  • Metro cities (Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Kolkata, Pune): 1–3 business days
  • Tier-2 cities: 2–4 business days
  • Remote pincodes: 3–6 business days

These are estimates from our courier partners and are not guaranteed.

3. Shipping charges

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. Some order sizes or campaigns may qualify for free shipping; the cart will show this clearly.

4. Packaging

We pack with food-safe cushioning to protect the fruit in transit. Avocados are shipped firm and continue to ripen at your end. Each order includes a ripening guide.

5. Tracking

You will receive a tracking link by email and SMS when the order ships. Allow up to 24 hours after dispatch for the tracking status to update.

6. Delivery

Our courier partner will attempt delivery to the address on the order. Please ensure:

  • Someone is available to receive the parcel
  • The phone number on the order is reachable
  • The address is complete and correct

Failed delivery attempts due to address or recipient issues are not our responsibility. See Section 7.

7. Failed delivery, refusal, return-to-origin

If a parcel is:

  • Refused by the recipient
  • Returned to us because the address was wrong, the recipient was unreachable, or the parcel was not collected after multiple attempts

we cannot reship the original fruit (it is perishable and will not survive a second journey). Re-shipping a fresh batch is at our discretion and at your cost. Refunds in such cases will be net of shipping and handling charges actually incurred.

8. Delays

We do not control courier handling once a parcel is in transit. Weather, road, or operational delays at the courier's end are outside our control. We will help you trace and escalate where possible.

If your parcel does not arrive within 7 days of the courier's expected delivery date, contact us and we will investigate.

9. Damaged or spoiled on arrival

See our Refund Policy. Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos.

10. Force majeure

We are not liable for shipping failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control: extreme weather, natural disasters, strikes, road closures, government action, pandemics, or courier-side outages. See Terms of Service Section 15.
